“Pilgrims of Hope: Sunday Gospel Reflections for Year C,” is based on the 2024-2025 liturgical calendar of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB). It follows the journey of Jesus and His apostles based on the Gospel according to Luke.
The present volume is the is the second volume of Gospel Reflections published through Catholic Prayer Space. This website provides resources to facilitate prayer and meditation in the tradition of the Catholic Church.
Volume I, entitled “Horizons of Faith” (2024), contains gospel reflections for the liturgical .calendar of year B, the Gospel according to Mark. Like Volume I, Volume II contains weekly reflections to ponder the message of the Word of God. Indicated verses can be found in the New Revised Standard Version of the Holy Bible (NRSV).
Much has changed since the publication of Volume I, “Horizons of Faith.” Yet, the basics of our Catholic faith tradition have remained the same. Perhaps, their significance can be appreciated even more considering the recent world developments.
